Be prepared for emergency communications. The 3-3-3 plan is a simple, universal protocol designed to ensure connectivity when conventional networks fail. Turn on your radio, tune to the designated channels, and listen or transmit to establish a local safety net.

3 Minutes

Listen and transmit for the first 3 minutes of the hour. Keep communications short, precise, and leave space for emergency traffic.

3 Hours

Activate your radio every 3 hours starting at 00:00 (00:00, 03:00, 06:00, 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, 21:00).

Channel 3

Tune to Channel 3 on PMR446 or CB Radio. For amateur radio operators, predefined calling frequencies are utilized.

PMR446

License-free radios. Ideal for short-range, local neighborhood communications.

CB Radio

Citizens Band. Excellent for medium-range, vehicle-to-base communications.

VHF

Amateur radio band providing extended local and regional coverage via repeaters or simplex.

HF Radio

High Frequency amateur radio. Used for national and international NVIS emergency nets.
